In the fall of 2019 I started a tiny publishing company called Tripwire Harlot Press using a print-on-demand service. I mentioned it here right after I’d figured out how to make my first book (now available on Amazon).
At the time of this writing, we have just dropped our second book: a compilation of 148 art pieces created by theater folks in the early days of the 2020 pandemic. We’re also reaching out to under-represented playwrights in the hopes of publishing an anthology series made from multiple single-author play collections.
This whole enterprise is thrilling and time-consuming and terrifying and etc. I don’t know how long it will last or how many publications we’ll make, but so far it’s been a gorgeous distraction.
