When I'd look for new apartments I had to make sure they were on a bus route, first the Blue Bus when I was a grad student at UCLA and then the MTA when I wanted to live where I thought the freaks were. So. I love your blog, and I try not to read it every day for the same reason I save my favorite piece of sushi until last (mackerel) when I order the combo platter.
